09/15/2021 – Opening of the 19. Dedicated Conference

Finally, the time has come:
The organization team around Prof. Franke and Prof. Schuderer welcomes the participants of the 19th ASIM Dedicated Conference, which will be held as a digital conference.
We are very pleased that the 19th Conference can be held. We would have liked to welcome everyone in Erlangen at the Friedrich-Alexander-University at the Südgelände in the rooms of the technical faculty. Unfortunately, Corona pandemic does not allow this. Nevertheless, we hope to be able to offer everyone an exciting and varied conference. Various platforms will be available to allow face-to-face exchange. All registered participants can be very excited.
In order to facilitate the days, a conference package has been sent to everyone. Hopefully it has arrived at everyone.

08/20/2021 – Publication of the conference program

Over the past few weeks, both the conference proceedings and the conference program have been prepared. The program is now available on the website.

07/31/2021 – Proceedings in print

Finally, the time has come:
All contributions for the conference proceedings "Simulation in Production and Logistics 2021" have been received, reviewed and approved by the authors.
Now the manuscript could be given to the publisher and will go to print in the next days.
All participants in the conference can look forward to 672 pages of the latest resaerch on the subject of simulation. The contributions will be presented during the conference.
The organizers of the symposium are already looking forward to September.

06/30/2021 – Decision for a digital realization of the conference

Due to the ongoing pandemic situation, the ASIM symposium Simulation in Production and Logistics will be held as a digital conference. The conference will be held in the afternoon on each of the three scheduled days. As far as the presenters agree, the lectures will be recorded and made available to the participants afterwards. The digital execution enables reduced participation fees.
There will also be various opportunities for exchange during the digital conference. Meetings with exhibitors are planned for the mornings. During the breaks, networking will be facilitated on the interactive wonder.me platform. On Thursday evening, you can look forward to a digital beer tasting from the Erlangen-Nuremberg region.

05/21/2021 – Receipt of full papers for the symposium!

The full papers for the symposium have been received!
We are very pleased that many authors have accepted the invitation to present research results at the symposium and have submitted their full papers. These will now be reviewed by the reviewers of the program committee.

04/21/2021 – Announcement of Keynote Speakers

We are pleased to announce two top-class keynote speakers for the conferece:
One keynote will be delivered by Dr. Jürgen Groß. He is a member of the management of the central division Research and Advance Engineering of Robert Bosch GmbH and a close cooperation partner of the chair FAPS. Currently, we work together on various research topics . In many cases, simulations and digital images of the plants re focussed.
The second keynote speech will be given by Prof. Dr. Jürgen Roßmann. He is a professor at RWTH Aachen University and head of the Institute for Human-Machine Interaction (MMI). His research activities are not only about simulations on PCs and screens, but also haptic experiences for humans, e.g. in space.
We are looking forward to exciting presentations and many participants.

03/30/2021 – Notification of authors

Many exciting exposés were submitted by mid-February. Many thanks to all authors for their interest in the conference.
The submitted papers have been reviewed. In the coming days, the Autors and authors will receive feedback.
We are looking forward to interesting and promising papers.

03/26/2020 – Save the Date!

During their meetingg on March 26th, 2020 the ASIM Woeking Group "Simulatiom in Production and Logistoics" has decided that their next conference will take place from 15th to 17th September, 2021 in Erlangen. The conference will be organized by the chair of XXXX (FAPS) at the FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg in cooperation with the business school of the Univerity of Applied Sciences Ingolstadt. ASIM SPL expresses their gratitude to Prof. Dr.-Ing Jörg Franke and Prof. Dr. rer. pol. Peter Schuderer for organizing the conference!
